Our proud heritage of artisan cheesemaking since 1870 made on Pikehall Farm in the Derbyshire Dales
Our cheese is handmade at our creamery based at the historic Pikehall Farm, using milk from the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. We are proudly the smallest Stilton producer using original artisan techniques, for our deliciously creamy range of cheese that includes PDO protected Blue Stilton & White Stilton, Dovedale Blue and the original ancient recipe Sage Derby and Traditional Derby cheese.

Makers of the Signature Dovedale Blue Cheese
This cheese is produced in small batches using only hand-made methods, making it a true artisan product.
Dovedale has been awarded a PDO, meaning that it can only be produced in this part of the world, in the Peak District.
Matured for 6-8 weeks, the cheese has a sumptuous, smooth texture and a delicate, creamy blue flavour.
NEW! Traditional & Red Derby & Skegness Blue
Introducing our latest cheese to our range: Traditional Derby Cheese, a unique regional cheese we have brought back for you to rediscover. Gold Winner at the International Cheese Awards, this is an excellent alternative to boring cheddars!
The new Skegness Blue release is the original regional recipe made even better. With a texture between Stilton and Brie, this unique and tasty brine-washed cheese is something to behold. It is available as a 160g wedge or a 2.2kg foil-wrapped wheel of cheese.
Last but not least, a brand-new regional cheese, uniquely made by Hartington Creamery, is the Red Derby Cheese, with a sweet and nutty hint, and a similar firm texture to its cousin, Traditional Derby Cheese.
