Whole Hartington Blue Stilton Cheese 8kg The King of Cheese
This is a Back Order only product and can take up to 4 weeks to ship. The ‘King of Cheese’ is the whole 8kg rind on Blue Stilton the very same ones we use to make all of the other cuts of cheese. Made using the same recipe first used to make Derbyshire Blue Stilton at the Hartington Creamery 1st April 1900. Our legendary rich intensely creamy Blue Stilton is handmade under the watchful eye of our own Diana Alcock the only female licensed master Stilton maker in Britain. Matured for 4-6 weeks before being pierced to allow the natural blue veining to occur wonderful texture and taste and it benefits from not being cut. This King of Cheese whole Stilton weighs approximately 8kg and will last up to 60 days. Consider slicing wrapping and freezing to use up any excess cheese. Did you know that the original Hartington Creamery dates back to the 1870’s and its founder was the Duke of Devonshire and the Chatsworth Estate This product includes free delivery anywhere in the UK it is VegSoc Approved suitable for Vegetarians. Quality, Local Produce
All our range is handmade at our creamery based at the historic Pikehall Farm, using milk from the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Pikehall Farm currently milks 200 cows a day who happily graze on its lush surrounding fields.
