Handmade at our artisan creamery in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, Hartington Blue Stilton is a traditional British cheese crafted using local milk and time-honoured cheesemaking methods. Carefully matured and pierced to encourage its characteristic blue veining, it develops a distinctive tangy flavour balanced by a rich, creamy texture.
Crowned Blue Stilton Champion at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards 2026, our award-winning Stilton makes a wonderful centrepiece for cheeseboards, parties and special occasions. Serve with celery, pears and other fresh fruit, or enjoy it melted into rich sauces, paired with meat dishes or alongside a glass of port or red wine.

Hartington Blue Stilton is made under licence to the strict standards of the Stilton Makers Association and holds Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status. Hartington Creamery is proud to be one of just six licensed Stilton producers in the UK, continuing the tradition of artisan cheesemaking at our historic Pikehall Farm creamery.
