The Making of our Wonderful Stilton
Hartington Creamery is the smallest and only artisan producer of Stilton Cheese in the world.
Our International Award Winning Cheese has been handmade and it is typically pierced and matured for nine weeks. The result is a unique tangy and creamy blue Stilton. Our Stilton is wonderful with celery, pears and other fruits. It is also a gourmet treat to cook with for meats and sauces or accompany a bottle or port or red wine.
All Stilton cheese is made in accordance with its strict quality license from the Stilton Makers Association and the Designate Origin UK Protected (was PDO) status. The village of Hartington in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales is the only place in the UK outside of the large producers in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire allowed to produce Stilton Cheese. All of our cheese is made with local milk in our creamery on the historic Pikehall Farm and is VegSoc Approved for Vegetarians.

White Stilton Cheese
White Stilton is similar to Blue Stilton only without the essential additive that turns it blue called Penicillium roqueforti. The resulting cheese is mild but creamy and tangy flavour. Available as a 200g wedge and 1kg half moon and 2kg ring.
