The Hartington Blue Stilton Cheese 4kg is half of a whole rind on Blue Stilton the very same ones we use to make all of the other cuts of cheese. Made using the same recipe first used to make Derbyshire Blue Stilton at the Hartington Creamery 1st April 1900. Our legendary rich intensely creamy Blue Stilton is handmade under the watchful eye of our own Diana Alcock – the only female licensed master Stilton maker in Britain.
Matured for 4-6 weeks before being pierced to allow the natural blue veining to occur, creating a wonderful texture and taste. This Hartington Blue Stilton Cheese will last up to 30 days prior to cutting. Consider slicing, wrapping and freezing to use up any excess cheese.
