Landmark Jubilee is cause for celebration
To commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, we wanted to create something exclusive and special for our blue cheese lovers to enjoy in royal style!
When and what is the Platinum Jubilee?
Ascending the throne on 6th February 1952 at just 25 years old, Her Majesty the Queen became the first British Monarch to commemorate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service.
The majority of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations will commence on Thursday 2nd June and continue over the bank holiday weekend until 5th June.
We are proud to present our new special edition Platinum Blue Cheese range in her honour and there are four party-pleasing sizes available.
What is the Platinum Blue cheese?
This semi-soft, creamy blue cheese has a brine washed edible rind. It’s hand made with love in our small artisan creamery on Pikehall Farm in the heart of the Peak District using Derbyshire Dales milk.

How to best enjoy
We highly recommend pairing the Platinum Blue with our Pikehall Fruity Pear & Apple Chutney. Made with local pears and Bramley apples, it’s cooked with traditional sweet spices and dried apricots to make this chutney a cheeseboard essential.
It’s also worth noting as with all cheese it is always best served at room temperature, to enjoy the rich, creamy texture and flavours.
