Cheese production has been back in the parish of Hartington since October 2012 and stilton has been made since the end of 2014.
Production has been increasing steadily with cheese now being sent all over the world and further plans for extending this are in the pipeline.
The cheeses regularly win awards at the top cheese shows in the country and feature on many menus at high class restaurants and hotels around the UK.
